Event Challenges in Quality Assurance and Quality Control of Micro- and Nanoplastics Analysis at ICCE 2023

In this satellite event, we will discuss the implementation of QA/QC tools for microplastic analysis in complex matrices, including the use of surrogate standards and controls as well as complementary analytical approaches. We will address the development and use of controls such as fresh and aged MP standards and spiked reference materials, as well as inter-laboratory comparisons and ring trials. Selected presentations by distinct experts in the field will introduce these topics, and a moderated discussion with the speakers and the audience will form the core of the satellite event.
