Conference SETAC Europe Meeting 2022 – 15-19 May 2022

The SETAC Europe meeting will take place in Copenhagen during 15-19th May 2022, as a physical meeting featuring virtual components. EUROqCHARM will have a strong presence.

There will be several presentations in the special session ‘3.09 - Micro- and nanoplastics: Towards the harmonized analysis for monitoring, effect studies and risk assessment’, co-chaired by two EUROqCHARM partners, Amy Lusher (NIVA) and Sebastian Primpke (AWI). The session is under Track “3. Environmental chemistry and exposure assessment: analysis, monitoring, fate and modeling” and it is scheduled to take place on Monday 16th as a “platform & poster session” in Auditorium 12.

EUROqCHARM will also host a “EU Projects Cluster Meeting for Measurement of Plastic Litter” as a “Satellite Meeting” on Tuesday 17th 10:00-11:00 in Meeting room 16. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for all projects under the umbrella of plastic litter to connect, discuss synergies and potential collaboration.

Finally on Wednesday 18th 14:30-15:30 in Meeting room 17 EUROqCHARM will host a “EUROqCHARM Stakeholder Meeting” devoted to all interested parties attending the SETAC meeting. The purpose of this meeting will be to enhance stakeholder interaction and understanding of EUROqCHARM, as well as closing the gap between stakeholder expectations and what the project will deliver.
